Knowledgeable front desk staff can provide advice on the nearby National Park, local events, and exciting outdoor activities to help you make the most of your stay. We happily coordinate activities such as guided rafting tours, horseback riding, guided fly fishing trips, snow shoeing, hiking, and adventure jeep tours. Have some good old-fashioned fun with miniature golf, go-karts, a trip down the historic Big Slide, or an aerial tram ride to the top of Prospect Mountain. Sample several of our local breweries, such as the exciting new Lumpy Ridge Brewing Company, and top off your evening with dinner and a live Western Stage Show (located just down the way).

The Estes Park calendar is always filled with lively, charming events and festivals. In the summer months, enjoy the weekly farmers market and the frequent craft fairs downtown. Estes is home to a dazzling 4th of July fireworks display, the Plein Air Arts festival, the annual Rooftop Rodeo, outdoor musical concerts, and (our favorite) the internationally renowned Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival.

When things get colder – well, it doesn’t slow down much. Be a part of the downtown Halloween trick-or-treating block party, catch candy from passing floats in our Holiday Glow parade, or attend the Whiskey Warm Up. Try snowshoeing or ice climbing for the first time, and skate your way around a frozen pond. If downhill skiing is your thing, Eldora Mountain Resort makes for a perfect day trip out of The Landing. You’ll never forget an evening of stargazing in the National Park.

The Estes Park Beer Experience

Lumpy Ridge Brewing Company

At Lumpy Ridge the mission is simple; brew, distribute, and serve delicious beer in an inspiring place that guests will want to return to again and again. Nick is the brainchild behind the incredible beer and eclectic setting that makes Lumpy Ridge so unique. The Brewery itself occupies a converted gas station just off of Highway 7 and features original artwork both inside and out from local artist Wade Johnston (www.theartofwade.com).

You can enjoy eight beer selections while sitting in their cozy tasting room or enjoy the incredible vistas of Lake Estes while sitting at picnic tables under the old gas station awning. The Lumpy Ridge reputation is quickly spreading across the Front Range and they are now featured in a number of excellent restaurants. According to www.untappd.com (a beer enthusiast website designed for connoisseurs to share rankings), the fan favorite brew is the Bourbon Barrel Aged Cascadian Dark (a limited time offering). Lumpy Ridge’s must-try stout is flying off the shelves, and they are currently offering the excellent Dirtyface IPA in a bomber at the Estes Park location. Stop by and check out this great little brewery today!

Estes Park Brewery has been a fixture in the Estes Valley for over twenty years. Their location near downtown, Fun City, and the Outdoor Adventure Park make it a must-stop for families enjoying Estes Park. The establishment is owned by Tyler and the head brewer is Kurt. They have been working together since 2013 and continue to brew some of the most well recognized beers available in Estes Park.

They are best known for their Stinger Wild Honey, which ranks as their highest on www.untappd.com. They have been bold enough to bring hints of fruit into their brewing process, offering the Longs Peak Raspberry Wheat and Bear Lake Blueberry Wheat. Alongside their eleven different beer options, the Estes Park Brewery offers a full-scale restaurant with all of the bar food favorites you would expect. It provides a great atmosphere for catching the game, shooting pool, or letting the kids enjoy a few arcade games.

Rock Cut Brewing Company

This year Rock Cut celebrated a first by participating in the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Matt and Tracy are the partners behind this delicious brewery and call Estes Park their home. Together, they have twenty years of brewing experience and take great personal pride in all ten of the beers they currently offer.

The Imperial Librarian is currently their highest ranked beer according to www.untappd.com. Rock Cut is only available here in Estes Park, so we encourage all of our guests to stop by the brewery to sample their distinctive beers created on premises with the finest grains and pristine Rocky Mountain water. They offer a variety of snacks and allow you to BYOF (bring your own food). Rock Cut has both an intimate indoor tasting room to escape the elements and an outdoor seating area with picnic tables along the Big Thompson River.
