Local Attractions

The Estes Park calendar is often filled with lively, charming events and festivals. In the summer months, enjoy the weekly farmers market and frequent craft fairs downtown. It’s to a dazzling 4th of July fireworks display, the annual Rooftop Rodeo, vintage antique markets, outdoor concerts, beer festivals, and (our favorite) the renowned Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival! Have some good old-fashioned fun with miniature golf, go-karts, a trip down the historic Big Slide, or an aerial tram ride to the top of Prospect Mountain. Knowledgeable front desk staff can provide advice on the nearby National Park and exciting outdoor activities to help you make the most of your stay.  Sample several of our local craft breweries and distilleries, take a wagon or sleigh ride through the woods and top off your evening with a live Western Stage Show or drinks at the historic Cascades Whiskey Bar.
When things get colder – well, it doesn’t slow down much. Be a part of the downtown Halloween trick-or-treating block party, catch candy from passing floats in our Holiday Glow Parade, or attend the Whiskey Warm Up. Try snowshoeing or ice climbing for the first time, and skate your way around a frozen pond. If downhill skiing is your thing, Eldora Mountain Resort makes for a perfect day trip out of The Landing. You’ll never forget an evening of stargazing in the National Park.
